Edmund Frantz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Покоряя Лев's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Kremer came free, but Edmund Frantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Frantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Kremer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thom Behringer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Claus Eckstein fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Покоряя Лев's protests and gave Claus Eckstein a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Покоряя Лев got a freekick which was hit by Claus Eckstein. In the 43rd minute of the match Jonathan Bachmann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmund Frantz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Felix Kremer took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmund Frantz. Edmund Frantz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Kremer was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Kremer in the 54th minute of play forced Покоряя Лев's goalkeeper Edmund Frantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Frantz made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Thom Behringer sent off a good shot on target.
