The supporters of Ancient Avnis City booed when FC Aarbechter Lëtzebuerg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Thimmesch didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Aarbechter Lëtzebuerg getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jacob Heinsohn hit a great ball. In the 11th minute of the match Otto Göbl shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yannick Brandebourg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 14th minute, Felix Kremer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thom Behringer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christof Kirschbaum came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Aarbechter Lëtzebuerg's Felix Kremer. But to his dismay, Felix Kremer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Felix Kremer struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Christof Kirschbaum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Aarbechter Lëtzebuerg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Bachmann in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christof Kirschbaum saved Ancient Avnis City from getting behind. In the 31st minute, Felix Kremer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mattias Thimmesch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christof Kirschbaum having to interfere. Christof Kirschbaum came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Aarbechter Lëtzebuerg's Ludwig Horowitz. But to his dismay, Ludwig Horowitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ancient Avnis City's goalkeeper Christof Kirschbaum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Kremer made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Haugwitz in the 54th minute of play forced FC Aarbechter Lëtzebuerg's goalkeeper Yannick Brandebourg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Kremer might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christof Kirschbaum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Kremer ran back to his position shaking his head. Ancient Avnis City's Christof Kirschbaum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Kremer in the 63rd minute of play. Christof Kirschbaum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Kremer in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Mattias Thimmesch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christof Kirschbaum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Felix Kremer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christof Kirschbaum was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Yannick Brandebourg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Friedrich Heppenheimer in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Aarbechter Lëtzebuerg's Mattias Thimmesch got a free kick in the 78th minute. When Thom Behringer came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the FC Aarbechter Lëtzebuerg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thom Behringer couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Felix Kremer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Aarbechter Lëtzebuerg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Christof Kirschbaum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Kremer in the 87th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Ancient Avnis City's Florian Behringer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yannick Brandebourg. Yannick Brandebourg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. FC Aarbechter Lëtzebuerg's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
