Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Harvey Allison started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Oscar von Bassenheim came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Witney AFC's Adrian Bastow. But to his dismay, Adrian Bastow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Witney AFC's goalkeeper Camron Dixon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kasey Newby hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. David Weiss's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camron Dixon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as David Weiss kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camron Dixon. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. David Weiss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camron Dixon having to interfere. Camron Dixon made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Karlheinz Bodenheimer sent off a good shot on target. Harvey Allison scored 1-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar von Bassenheim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 played minutes Witney AFC got a freekick which was hit by Harvey Allison. Karlheinz Bodenheimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Camron Dixon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camron Dixon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Weiss, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes of play, Cove AFC's Karlheinz Bodenheimer made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camron Dixon was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Witney AFC's zone, David Weiss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camron Dixon came out of the goal and David Weiss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karlheinz Bodenheimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camron Dixon having to interfere. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Weiss was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Cove AFC. Ralph Goldstein stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Camron Dixon. 3-2. In the 58th minute of the match Rudolph Gottschalk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camron Dixon skillfully saved the ball. Camron Dixon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karlheinz Bodenheimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Witney AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Karlheinz Bodenheimer came free, but Camron Dixon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Harvey Allison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71st play minutes Karlheinz Bodenheimer shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Camron Dixon and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 74th minute, David Weiss left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cove AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Karlheinz Bodenheimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Hellmuth Quattlebaum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cove AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hellmuth Quattlebaum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6-2 became the score in the 81st minute when Karlheinz Bodenheimer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karlheinz Bodenheimer in the 86th minute of play forced Witney AFC's goalkeeper Camron Dixon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasey Newby charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kasey Newby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 99 played minutes Witney AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kasey Newby. After 100 played minutes, Cove AFC's Ralph Goldstein shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camron Dixon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cove AFC reached it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cove AFC had played much better football throughout.
