During the 38th minute of the match Charles Fröhlich completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Charles Fröhlich a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Next generation football booed when Pandalists F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Fröhlich didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pandalists F.C's Nick Peterhans got a free kick in the 41st minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Samuel Hummel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Next generation football's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Hummel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jean-Claude Hahnemann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmund von Ancken went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jupp Fabeck made a kick off. If Edmund von Ancken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmund von Ancken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 played minutes Pandalists F.C got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Braunstein. If Frankie Beermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edmund von Ancken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jean-Claude Hahnemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Opitz charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Opitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pandalists F.C booed when Next generation football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Opitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmund von Ancken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jupp Fabeck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Christian Hantzsch made a huge save. With a little luck, Next generation football's Christian Hantzsch got control of the ball when Jonathan Homburg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jupp Fabeck hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Jupp Fabeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmund von Ancken scored 3-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean-Claude Hahnemann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pandalists F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
