In the 9th minute, Fredrik Günther got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ebley AFC's zone, Jupp Fabeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Amann came out of the goal and Jupp Fabeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Philip Amann didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredrik Günther in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Claude Hahnemann saved Pandalists F.C from getting behind. Giles Reuter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fredrik Günther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernie Hauer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giles Reuter to strike the kick off in the second half. Fredrik Günther struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jean-Claude Hahnemann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ebley AFC. A collision led to Pandalists F.C getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Lucien Bodenstein hit a great ball. With a little luck, Pandalists F.C's Jean-Claude Hahnemann got control of the ball when Fredrik Günther tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stéphane Sax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Amann having to interfere. When Jupp Fabeck fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pandalists F.C's protests and gave Jupp Fabeck a yellow card for diving instead. Pandalists F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
