When Fredrik Walch fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zidanes y Pavones's protests and gave Fredrik Walch a yellow card for diving instead. Fredrik Walch hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Zidanes y Pavones's goal looked a bit too open when David Weiss came free, but Michael von Radowitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Karlheinz Bodenheimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Weiss might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael von Radowitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Weiss ran back to his position shaking his head. Zidanes y Pavones's Michael von Radowitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Horowitz in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute, David Weiss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Zidanes y Pavones's Linus Gernsback got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heiko Hilgendorf in the 29th minute of play forced Cove AFC's goalkeeper Oscar von Bassenheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Cove AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Horowitz to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, Cove AFC's David Weiss nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael von Radowitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Zidanes y Pavones's zone, David Weiss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael von Radowitz came out of the goal and David Weiss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karlheinz Bodenheimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael von Radowitz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cove AFC's David Weiss got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Weiss stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Michael von Radowitz made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Karlheinz Bodenheimer sent off a good shot on target. Karlheinz Bodenheimer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Michael von Radowitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Cove AFC's Karlheinz Bodenheimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michael von Radowitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Zidanes y Pavones's goal looked a bit too open when David Weiss came free, but Michael von Radowitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If David Weiss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karlheinz Bodenheimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Michael von Radowitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Weiss in the 72nd minute of play. Michael von Radowitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Weiss in the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, David Weiss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cove AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Weiss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karlheinz Bodenheimer hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. David Weiss was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Cove AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heiko Hilgendorf in the 91st minute of play forced Cove AFC's goalkeeper Oscar von Bassenheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zidanes y Pavones's Bob Pilz got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fredrik Walch got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Cove AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
