In the 8th minute Joseph Braunstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Imhoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stéphane Sax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Aumeier got free with Jean-Claude Hahnemann in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute, Edward Schröder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Axel Aumeier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stéphane Sax recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Chazon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stéphane Sax came free, but Adrian Imhoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Stéphane Sax managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pandalists F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stéphane Sax was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 40 in the game by Axel Aumeier from a close distance when the talented Jean-Claude Hahnemann managed to make a qualified save. Pandalists F.C's players were relieved. 41 minutes into the game, Nick Fährmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pandalists F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chazon FC the free kick. In the 43rd minute George Kirchen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Claude Hahnemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Fröhlich's late challenge caught a Chazon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles Fröhlich helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Pandalists F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Fröhlich to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Claude Hahnemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Kirchen, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half Pandalists F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stéphane Sax was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Chazon FC's zone, Stéphane Sax stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Imhoff came out of the goal and Stéphane Sax tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 52 minutes of play Chazon FC's Edward Schröder was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Edward Schröder hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Stéphane Sax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Imhoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jupp Fabeck got free with Adrian Imhoff in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Chazon FC's goalkeeper Adrian Imhoff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jupp Fabeck. Nicolas Habich hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Aumeier in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Claude Hahnemann saved Pandalists F.C from getting behind. Jupp Fabeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Imhoff having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Stéphane Sax managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pandalists F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Stéphane Sax was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Imhoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jupp Fabeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Adrian Imhoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pandalists F.C's Jupp Fabeck got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chazon FC's goalkeeper Adrian Imhoff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stéphane Sax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jasper von Radowitz's late challenge caught a Pandalists F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jasper von Radowitz helped the player get up and apologised. Jasper von Radowitz kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
