The supporters of Ebley AFC booed when Witney AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Noble didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Fredrik Günther had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camron Dixon. Witney AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredrik Günther was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Adrian Bastow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Bastow blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Philip Amann having to make a save. Fredrik Günther received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Camron Dixon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudy Breitbarth's late challenge caught a Witney AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudy Breitbarth helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in Witney AFC's zone, Giles Reuter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camron Dixon came out of the goal and Giles Reuter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kasey Newby hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Witney AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Giles Reuter came free, but Camron Dixon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rick Greaves fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Witney AFC's protests and gave Rick Greaves a yellow card for diving instead. Rick Greaves kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match Ralph Redoute shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camron Dixon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adrian Bastow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Amann having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ebley AFC were victorious despite being under pressure from Witney AFC for much of the match.
