In the 6th minute Giles Reuter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael von Radowitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Ebley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ernie Hauer. Bob Pilz struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Philip Amann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zidanes y Pavones. 13 minutes into the match, Fredrik Günther notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Zidanes y Pavones's Michael von Radowitz. Michael von Radowitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 16 played minutes Ebley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Timothy Hoffmann. Michael von Radowitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giles Reuter, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Fredrik Günther received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Michael von Radowitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Giles Reuter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fredrik Günther fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael von Radowitz having to interfere. After 38 minutes Zidanes y Pavones's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ralph Redoute who took care of the corner kick. After 40 played minutes, Ebley AFC's Ralph Redoute shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michael von Radowitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ebley AFC reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredrik Günther in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael von Radowitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Zidanes y Pavones booed when Ebley AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Lambert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heiko Hilgendorf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Philip Amann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Ernie Hauer charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernie Hauer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Ebley AFC's Philip Amann got control of the ball when Bob Pilz tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Heiko Hilgendorf was the one to do the kick off. After 59 minutes, Fredrik Walch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zidanes y Pavones and the Ebley AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Fredrik Walch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredrik Walch kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Giles Reuter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 minutes, Linus Gernsback mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zidanes y Pavones and the Ebley AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fredrik Günther fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael von Radowitz having to interfere. The Zidanes y Pavones fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ebley AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
