Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Friedrich Pflaumenbaum in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jean-Claude Hahnemann, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 16 in the game by Friedrich Pflaumenbaum from a close distance when the talented Jean-Claude Hahnemann managed to make a qualified save. Pandalists F.C's players were relieved. Friedrich Pflaumenbaums short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Jean-Claude Hahnemann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. UNITED's Friedrich Pflaumenbaum got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Friedrich Pflaumenbaum who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Jean-Claude Hahnemann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jean-Claude Hahnemann was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pedro Horado. Jasper Holz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stéphane Sax went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Friedrich Pflaumenbaum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42ndth minute of the game Friedrich Pflaumenbaum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pandalists F.C's Jean-Claude Hahnemann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Jean-Claude Hahnemann managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when UNITED's Friedrich Pflaumenbaum fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Friedrich Pflaumenbaum to strike the kick off in the second half. Jean-Claude Hahnemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Tino, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Friedrich Pflaumenbaum blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean-Claude Hahnemann having to make a save. Jean-Claude Hahnemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Tino in the 63rd minute of play. Thom Winkler hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jean-Claude Hahnemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Friedrich Pflaumenbaum in the 68th minute of the match. Billy Bodmer might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean-Claude Hahnemann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Billy Bodmer ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 72 minutes, Friedrich Pflaumenbaum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Friedrich Pflaumenbaum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Billy Bodmer came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Bodmer couldn't finish the play. Jean-Claude Hahnemann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Friedrich Pflaumenbaum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81stth minute of the game Friedrich Pflaumenbaum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pandalists F.C's Jean-Claude Hahnemann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jean-Claude Hahnemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Friedrich Pflaumenbaum in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pandalists F.C's zone, Aquiles Tino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Claude Hahnemann came out of the goal and Aquiles Tino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Friedrich Pflaumenbaum in the 90th minute of play forced Pandalists F.C's goalkeeper Jean-Claude Hahnemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pandalists F.C's Jupp Fabeck got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thom Winkler charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thom Winkler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pandalists F.C getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Thom Winkler hit a great ball. UNITED were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
