Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute David Weiss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rupert Fürstenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cove AFC's David Weiss got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rupert Fürstenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karlheinz Bodenheimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fussballclub Diekirch's Rupert Fürstenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Fussballclub Diekirch from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, David Weiss managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cove AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Weiss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rupert Fürstenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karlheinz Bodenheimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rupert Fürstenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Tom Majerus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralph Goldstein, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Majerus in the 28th minute of play forced Cove AFC's goalkeeper Oscar von Bassenheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Karlheinz Bodenheimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rupert Fürstenberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Félix Heinsohn. In the 39th minute David Weiss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rupert Fürstenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fussballclub Diekirch's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when David Weiss scored to the left of an out of position Rupert Fürstenberg, making the score, 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tom Köhler made a kick off. Karlheinz Bodenheimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Cove AFC's Karlheinz Bodenheimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rupert Fürstenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Fredrik Horowitz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the game, Karlheinz Bodenheimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Rupert Fürstenberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rudolph Gottschalk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rupert Fürstenberg. Fussballclub Diekirch's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tom Majerus hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Tom Köhler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar von Bassenheim having to interfere. Rupert Fürstenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Weiss, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cove AFC fully deserved thier win.
