Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) DKMW Team's Karlheinz Günzburg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Thetford AFC defense, Karlheinz Günzburg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Wipplinger. The Thetford AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Wipplinger should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the game, Francesco Hundhammer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henry Hummel. Francesco Hundhammer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Henry Hummel came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Thetford AFC's Patrick Roth. But to his dismay, Patrick Roth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to DKMW Team getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Lucien Klingelmann hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Thetford AFC's Francesco Hundhammer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henry Hummel. That made the score 3-1 after 29 minutes of play. In the 35th minute Moritz Knochenmus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Hummel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacques Axmann kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Perry Gernsback got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Henry Hummel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moritz Knochenmus in the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 played minutes DKMW Team got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Fabeck. In the 55th minute, Bob Hahnemann sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and DKMW Team's Henry Hummel didn't even have to move. Francesco Hundhammer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Thetford AFC's Francesco Hundhammer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henry Hummel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Karlheinz Günzburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Roth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Henry Hummel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francesco Hundhammer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Hummel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Karlheinz Günzburg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DKMW Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karlheinz Günzburg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Perry Gernsback sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patrick Wipplinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karlheinz Günzburg in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Thetford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Haugwitz to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the game, Karlheinz Günzburg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DKMW Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thetford AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, DKMW Team's Karlheinz Günzburg got a free kick in the 92nd minute. DKMW Team's Karlheinz Günzburg got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Karlheinz Günzburg off the ground. Karlheinz Günzburg hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Thetford AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of DKMW Team for a fine match.
