An unexpectedly hard shot by Stéphane Sax in the 5th minute of play forced Thetford AFC's goalkeeper Patrick Wipplinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Fröhlich's late challenge caught a Thetford AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles Fröhlich helped the player get up and apologised. Charles Fröhlich kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Moritz Knochenmus hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Pandalists F.C's Jean-Claude Hahnemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moritz Knochenmus in the 24th minute of play. Patrick Wipplinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stéphane Sax in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pandalists F.C's Thom Winkler got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Pandalists F.C defense, Moritz Knochenmus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-Claude Hahnemann. The Pandalists F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Claude Hahnemann should have stopped the shot. Jean-Claude Hahnemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moritz Knochenmus, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Thetford AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pandalists F.C:s goal. Patrick Wipplinger went to the wrong direction when Joseph Braunstein was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Jean-Claude Hahnemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moritz Knochenmus in the 55th minute of play. If Claude Haugwitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nick Fährmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stéphane Sax recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrick Roth hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A collision led to Thetford AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Patrick Roth hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Thetford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jupp Fabeck came free, but Patrick Wipplinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francesco Hundhammer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Wipplinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jupp Fabeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 98th minute of the match Patrick Roth completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Patrick Roth a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 99th match minute, Thetford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Roth to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 102nd minute, Jupp Fabeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pandalists F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Jupp Fabeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Wipplinger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Pandalists F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Thetford AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Thetford AFC.
