Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ralf Faas got the match started through his kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Siegfried Brockhaus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Claude Reuter, 1-1. In the 21st minute Siegfried Brockhaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Reuter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Igor zu Castell-Rüdenhausen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. comecus F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kerkezer AFC the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, comecus F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor zu Castell-Rüdenhausen to maneuver through the defense. If Heiko Bach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kerkezer AFC's Claude Reuter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siegfried Brockhaus in the 32nd minute of play. Heiko Bach took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Rheingold. Albert Rheingold dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Siegfried Brockhaus made a kick off. Albert Rheingold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Faas, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rdth minute of the game Lars von Hompesch zu Bolheim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kerkezer AFC's Claude Reuter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Igor zu Castell-Rüdenhausen came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the comecus F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor zu Castell-Rüdenhausen couldn't finish the play. When comecus F.C's Lars von Hompesch zu Bolheim in 61 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Claude Reuter guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a rather tough play, comecus F.C's Billy Kieffer got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Heiko Bach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Albert Rheingold made a huge save. Ralf Faas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
