Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stéphane Hammerschmidt took the kick off in the first half of the match. Stéphane Hammerschmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the game, Rudy Schleck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porthcurno United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Preston the free kick. Tristan Fleischhacker was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stéphane Hammerschmidt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Tristan Fleischhacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stéphane Hammerschmidt in the 15th minute of the match. Klaus Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tristan Fleischhacker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Markus Gessler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Preston and the Porthcurno United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Preston's Markus Gessler got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute, Rudy Schleck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Klaus Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Fleischhacker having to interfere. With a little luck, Preston's Tristan Fleischhacker got control of the ball when Klaus Hoffmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stéphane Hammerschmidt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tristan Fleischhacker came out and tried to block the shot, but Stéphane Hammerschmidt slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. Preston's Tristan Fleischhacker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stéphane Hammerschmidt in the 42nd minute of play. Fredrik Trausch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Axmann having to interfere. Georg Bausch hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredrik Trausch to make the kick off. Tristan Fleischhacker came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Porthcurno United's Stéphane Hammerschmidt. But to his dismay, Stéphane Hammerschmidt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 54th minute, Klaus Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute Stéphane Hammerschmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Fleischhacker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes Preston got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Lützel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaus Hoffmann in the 61st minute of play forced Preston's goalkeeper Tristan Fleischhacker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Preston's zone, Klaus Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tristan Fleischhacker came out of the goal and Klaus Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Stéphane Hammerschmidt notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Preston's Tristan Fleischhacker. Tristan Fleischhacker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tristan Fleischhacker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaus Hoffmann in the 68th minute of play. If Stéphane Hammerschmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stéphane Hammerschmidt in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tristan Fleischhacker saved Preston from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Porthcurno United's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Trausch came free, but Billy Axmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Moritz Hansen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Klaus Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Porthcurno United's Abraham Wagener nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tristan Fleischhacker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0.
