Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jerry Blumenthal kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Burgos United booed when Oswaldtwistle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaus Pickler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Leo Nassau fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Leo Nassau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teddy Brodmann having to interfere. After 15 minutes, Klaus Pickler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oswaldtwistle FC and the Burgos United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Oswaldtwistle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Pickler to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Freddie Hantzsch sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Oswaldtwistle FC's Kenny Günzburg didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Nassau in the 25th minute of play forced Burgos United's goalkeeper Teddy Brodmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Burgos United getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Vincent Sulzbach hit a great ball. Oswaldtwistle FC's Leo Nassau got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 38 played minutes Oswaldtwistle FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Redoute. In the 39th minute, Jerry Blumenthal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oswaldtwistle FC's Kenny Günzburg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Blumenthal in the 40th minute of play. Noah Pflaumenbaum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leo Nassau to strike the kick off in the second half. Teddy Brodmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Nassau, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jerry Blumenthal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kenny Günzburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eddie Schleck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Burgos United's zone, Eddie Schleck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teddy Brodmann came out of the goal and Eddie Schleck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Burgos United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
