After a defensive mix-up in Turtle Towers Soccer's zone, Philipp Klein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre von Radowitz came out of the goal and Philipp Klein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Linus Hilgendorf's late challenge caught a Turtle Towers Soccer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Linus Hilgendorf helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to North Lords FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Linus Hilgendorf hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Samuel Weiss sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucien Ozwald skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Turtle Towers Soccer's Friedrich Brandebourg got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Philipp Klein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pierre von Radowitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philipp Klein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, North Lords FC's Pierre von Radowitz threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Philipp Klein, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Philipp Klein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Lucien Ozwald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timothy Beauchêne, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Philipp Klein to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucien Ozwald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jupp Grünfeld in the 60th minute of play. Pierre von Radowitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Becker in the 62nd minute of play. If Mark Becker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Willy Albrecht fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Turtle Towers Soccer's protests and gave Willy Albrecht a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, North Lords FC's Lucien Ozwald got control of the ball when Timothy Beauchêne tried to sneak it across the goal line.
