Zane Bakewell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hellmuth Kubeck went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 62 minutes, Siegfried Katzenbach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bradford on Avon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siegfried Katzenbach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ludwig Zaugg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Tinker in the 66th minute of play. Ludwig Zaugg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Tinker in the 68th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John Tinker during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, John Tinker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Shakespeare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hellmuth Kubeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zane Bakewell having to interfere. John Tinker might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ludwig Zaugg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John Tinker ran back to his position shaking his head. Siegfried Katzenbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Zane Bakewell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Siegfried Katzenbach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bradford on Avon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siegfried Katzenbach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
