Robin Opitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Cheswick in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Howden's Fred Mayfield nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robin Opitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Mayfield in the 18th minute of play forced Feli Neca Nine's goalkeeper Robin Opitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Freddy Jowsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Fred Mayfield managed to get in a good position for a shot. Howden's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Mayfield was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Opitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Mayfield in the 28th minute of play forced Feli Neca Nine's goalkeeper Robin Opitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Jowsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fred Mayfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonny Cheswick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Opitz having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Mayfield in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robin Opitz saved Feli Neca Nine from getting behind. When Howden's Jonny Cheswick in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Feli Neca Nine's goalie prevented a goal. Robin Opitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Mayfield in the 37th minute of play. If Jonny Cheswick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonny Cheswick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Howden were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonny Cheswick made a kick off. The supporters of Howden booed when Feli Neca Nine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Dubois didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute Reuben Hutchins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Opitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Behrend hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The supporters of Howden booed when Feli Neca Nine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Baum didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Feli Neca Nine's zone, Fred Mayfield stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Opitz came out of the goal and Fred Mayfield tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Feli Neca Nine's goalkeeper Robin Opitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Feli Neca Nine's zone, Jonny Cheswick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Opitz came out of the goal and Jonny Cheswick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, Feli Neca Nine's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Cheswick came free, but Robin Opitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Cheswick in the 74th minute of play forced Feli Neca Nine's goalkeeper Robin Opitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Fred Mayfield made a precise shot to the right of Robin Opitz. Feli Neca Nine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 92ndth minute of the game Jonny Cheswick who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Feli Neca Nine's Robin Opitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Howden's Jonny Cheswick pulled a muscle in his leg after 97 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Joel Dubois fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Feli Neca Nine's protests and gave Joel Dubois a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of Feli Neca Nine:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Howden:s goal. 101 minutes had been played when some careless play by Feli Neca Nine's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reuben Hutchins was slow to take the kick. During this time Howden's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Fred Mayfield at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Feli Neca Nine. 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Howden left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Feli Neca Nine.
