Adam Rheingold kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Karlheinz Weiss sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Burgos United's Teddy Brodmann didn't even have to move. If Bernhard Hommel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernhard Hommel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teddy Brodmann having to interfere. Rex Mutzel hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Leo Schmitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Blumenthal in the 37th minute of play. In the 44th minute Adam Rheingold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Schmitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noah Pflaumenbaum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Schmitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Freddy Helminger charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Helminger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rdth minute of the game Bernhard Hommel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Burgos United's Teddy Brodmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leo Schmitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Blumenthal in the 56th minute of the match. When Adam Rheingold fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burgos United's protests and gave Adam Rheingold a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Adam Rheingold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andreas Fröhlich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernhard Hommel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of C.A. Spora booed when Burgos United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Rheingold didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Teddy Brodmann managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when C.A. Spora's Andreas Fröhlich fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Bernhard Hommel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Spora getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Elmar Imhoff hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Noah Pflaumenbaum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Schmitz was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jerry Blumenthal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burgos United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerry Blumenthal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Schmitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
