The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Becker got free with Teddy Brodmann in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Blumenthal in the 14th minute of play forced North Lords FC's goalkeeper Lucien Ozwald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noah Pflaumenbaum blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucien Ozwald having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Blumenthal in the 16th minute of play forced North Lords FC's goalkeeper Lucien Ozwald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Philipp Klein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mark Becker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind North Lords FC's goalkeeper Lucien Ozwald, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Noah Pflaumenbaum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Lucien Ozwald made a huge save. After 84 minutes, Oscar Bruckert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burgos United and the North Lords FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Burgos United's Oscar Bruckert got a free kick in the 84th minute. Teddy Brodmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Becker, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Lutz Beauchêne charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 97 minutes North Lords FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Freddie Hantzsch who took care of the corner kick. Philipp Klein thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Lucien Ozwald, a very annoying self made goal in the 97th minute which led to 1-3. Burgos United played a much better game than North Lords FC and deserved their victory. The North Lords FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
