After 15 minutes, Lutz Bäumler made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. Spora's Leo Schmitz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lutz Bäumler in the 22nd minute of play forced C.A. Spora's goalkeeper Leo Schmitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lutz Bäumler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gottfried Pflaumenbaum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pol Backhaus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernhard Hommel, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Leo Schmitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Grünfeld in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Leo Schmitz made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Dietrich Redoute sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Schiltz during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.A. Spora's Stefan Schiltz got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, C.A. Spora's goal looked a bit too open when Lutz Bäumler came free, but Leo Schmitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sheepy Giants's Pol Backhaus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Fröhlich in the 71st minute of play. Leo Schmitz came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheepy Giants's Dietrich Redoute. But to his dismay, Dietrich Redoute quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 85th match minute, C.A. Spora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Schiltz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lutz Bäumler in the 88th minute of play forced C.A. Spora's goalkeeper Leo Schmitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A. Spora's Leo Schmitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Grünfeld in the 89th minute of play. Bernhard Hommel hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernhard Hommel in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pol Backhaus saved Sheepy Giants from getting behind. After 96 minutes, Rex Mutzel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Spora and the Sheepy Giants players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, C.A. Spora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rex Mutzel to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Leon Behringer in the 98th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Leo Schmitz's left hand side. When the final whistle sounded Sheepy Giants left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C.A. Spora.
