Aaron Gottschalk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Brötzmann having to interfere. Mark Becker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Joseph Brötzmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Becker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Brötzmann having to interfere. Aaron Gottschalk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Çayeli Football Club were furious when Mark Klein was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Bernhard Feldmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucien Ozwald having to interfere. After a rather tough play, North Lords FC's Matty Uhlenbrock got a free kick in the 25th minute. Aaron Gottschalk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. The supporters of Çayeli Football Club booed when North Lords FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matty Uhlenbrock didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Çayeli Football Club's Jan Ronvaux tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Bernhard Feldmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernhard Feldmann struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Lucien Ozwald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Çayeli Football Club. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Gottschalk in the 46th minute of play forced Çayeli Football Club's goalkeeper Joseph Brötzmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 58th minute of the match Frank Meyers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucien Ozwald showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aaron Gottschalk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Joseph Brötzmann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Çayeli Football Club's goalkeeper Joseph Brötzmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Gottschalk. When Bernhard Feldmann came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Çayeli Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernhard Feldmann couldn't finish the play. North Lords FC's Lucien Ozwald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernhard Feldmann in the 72nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Aaron Gottschalk sped through Çayeli Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joseph Brötzmann. Çayeli Football Club's Joseph Brötzmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Becker in the 78th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Bernhard Feldmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Bjorn Sax hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing North Lords FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
