Steffen Gerhardt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raphaël Lentz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Steffen Gerhardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Raphaël Lentz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raphaël Lentz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yannick Böhm in the 19th minute of the match. David Müller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Noah Fürstenberg made a huge save. After 35 played minutes FLAMENGO got a freekick which was hit by Milo Böhm. In the 37th minute of the match Knights FC got a corner. FLAMENGO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Francesco Ozwald ran over to the corner to take the kick. Knights FC's Francesco Ozwald was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Noah Fürstenberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Nicolas Sulzbach came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Knights FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Sulzbach couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steffen Gerhardt made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steffen Gerhardt in the 54th minute of play forced Knights FC's goalkeeper Raphaël Lentz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Ozwald took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Noah Fürstenberg. FLAMENGO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If David Müller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Knights FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Knights FC's Nicolas Sulzbach looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With his leg Raphaël Lentz managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when FLAMENGO's Yannick Böhm fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Knights FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jean-Claude Samson hit a great ball. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Knights FC's goalkeeper Raphaël Lentz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steffen Gerhardt in the 74th minute of play forced Knights FC's goalkeeper Raphaël Lentz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Claude Samson kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Knights FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tom Favre was slow to take the kick. During this time FLAMENGO's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Tom Favre almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Knights FC's Raphaël Lentz did a great save. Nicolas Sulzbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Noah Fürstenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Sulzbach struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Noah Fürstenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knights FC. Noah Fürstenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Sulzbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Knights FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
