Noah Goldstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joe Dingle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noah Goldstein in the 38th minute of the match. Silvester Müller made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Lloyd Searle sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th play minute Lloyd Searle came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Silvester Müller. 0-2. If Ged Hutchinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Perry Townson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvester Müller having to make a save. 79 minutes into the game, Eddie von Fürstenberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esch‑sur‑Alzette's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abbey Wood the free kick. After 79 played minutes Esch‑sur‑Alzette got a freekick which was hit by Eddie von Fürstenberg. The long shot by Ged Hutchinson in the 80th minute really tested Silvester Müller's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 87th minute, Noah Goldstein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Noah Goldstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Joe Dingle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lloyd Searle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Silvester Müller made a huge save. Lloyd Searle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Silvester Müller when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abbey Wood's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
