FLAMENGO's Noah Fürstenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Lützel in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, FLAMENGO's goal looked a bit too open when Luka Lützel came free, but Noah Fürstenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match Cristiano RONALDO got a corner. FLAMENGO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claus von Axelson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Claus von Axelson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Noah Fürstenberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Cristiano RONALDO's zone, Yannick Böhm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Walch came out of the goal and Yannick Böhm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steffen Gerhardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Stefan Walch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FLAMENGO's Yannick Böhm got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yannick Böhm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Stefan Walch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claus von Axelson fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 41st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FLAMENGO's goalkeeper Noah Fürstenberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Steffen Gerhardt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Steffen Gerhardt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Lützel in the 51st minute of play forced FLAMENGO's goalkeeper Noah Fürstenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steffen Gerhardt in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Walch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Steffen Gerhardt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steffen Gerhardt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Walch having to interfere. Steffen Gerhardt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yannick Böhms short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Stefan Walch to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Nosbusch in the 70th minute of play forced Cristiano RONALDO's goalkeeper Stefan Walch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yannick Böhm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Stefan Walch made a huge save.
