Silvester Müller had great luck who in the 19thth minute grab hold of the ball when Pol Kampf from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Noah Goldstein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esch‑sur‑Alzette's supporters rose to their feet, but Noah Goldstein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charlie Rabinger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Bernd Helminger made a precise shot to the right of Silvester Müller. Esch‑sur‑Alzette's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Pol Kampf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Vincent Brodmann's late challenge caught a Esch‑sur‑Alzette's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vincent Brodmann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th match minute, Luxembourg Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Brodmann to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Esch‑sur‑Alzette's Silvester Müller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pol Kampf in the 54th minute of play. Bernd Helminger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 63 played minutes Luxembourg Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Brodmann. In the 75th minute, Eddie von Fürstenberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Charlie Rabinger. The goal made the score 1-1. Charlie Rabinger was a little too slow when Eddie von Fürstenberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-2. Eddie von Fürstenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Noah Goldstein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Eddie von Fürstenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esch‑sur‑Alzette's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddie von Fürstenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noah Goldstein in the 96th minute of play forced Luxembourg Youth Academy's goalkeeper Charlie Rabinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
