Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicolas Sulzbach took the kick off in the first half of the match. Raphaël Lentz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudy Klingelmann in the 3rd minute of play. Francesco Ozwald kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Donald Luxembourg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mick Albrecht stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Sulzbach's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Theo Bäumler managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Cross's supporters rose to their feet, but Theo Bäumler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphaël Lentz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charlie Beermann kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Donald Luxembourg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphaël Lentz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If David Müller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, David Müller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Knights FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A hard shot 36 in the game by Theo Bäumler from a close distance when the talented Raphaël Lentz managed to make a qualified save. Knights FC's players were relieved. When Nicolas Sulzbach fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knights FC's protests and gave Nicolas Sulzbach a yellow card for diving instead. New Cross's Donald Luxembourg got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The New Cross players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Knights FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donald Luxembourg made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Theo Bäumler notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Knights FC's Raphaël Lentz. Raphaël Lentz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The penalty shot was made by Vincent Heidenreich, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Knights FC's Raphaël Lentz. 2-1. Raphaël Lentz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donald Luxembourg in the 65th minute of the match. Raphaël Lentz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donald Luxembourg, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The long shot by Francesco Ozwald in the 70th minute really tested Mick Albrecht's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 71st minute, Nicolas Sulzbach fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Bäumler in the 74th minute of play forced Knights FC's goalkeeper Raphaël Lentz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donald Luxembourg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The New Cross fans cheered their team off the field, for while Knights FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
