Spectators: 8414 (Terracing: 6311, Seating: 1935, VIP seats: 168) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Schneider took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Rothley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rob Crawshaw to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darius Garrett in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moritz Axmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, CJ Ansell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 12 played minutes Enigma got a freekick which was hit by Jupp Rabinger. CJ Ansell kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Lenny Kilburg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ryan Bean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CJ Ansell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Moritz Axmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Rothley's CJ Ansell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moritz Axmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Julian Schneider came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Enigma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Schneider couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darius Garrett in the 35th minute of play forced Enigma's goalkeeper Moritz Axmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Sparkes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moritz Axmann having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rothley's CJ Ansell got a free kick in the 40th minute. Enigma's Moritz Axmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Ansell in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Enigma getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jupp Rabinger hit a great ball. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Enigma's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Darren Banks was slow to take the kick. During this time Rothley's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Rothley's Darren Banks to fire away a dangerous shot which Moritz Axmann despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half Rothley were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Darius Garrett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CJ Ansell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darius Garrett in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moritz Axmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute CJ Ansell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moritz Axmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Enigma's zone, Darius Garrett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moritz Axmann came out of the goal and Darius Garrett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Enigma's goal looked a bit too open when CJ Ansell came free, but Moritz Axmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Rothley's CJ Ansell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Moritz Axmann. Moritz Axmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Reggie Gilchrist kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes, Enigma's Axel Bourbon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ryan Bean came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Enigma reached it. Rothley played a much better game than Enigma and deserved their victory. The Enigma players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
