The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Lynx FC's Perry Beicht sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matthew Rowett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karl Rashleigh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franck Klepper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthew Rowett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perry Beicht, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Franck Klepper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Rowett having to interfere. Matthew Rowett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perry Beicht in the 25th minute of play. Franck Klepper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Matthew Rowett made a huge save. After having played for 32 minutes, Franck Klepper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lynx FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franck Klepper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Perry Beicht took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Matthew Rowett to make any attempt to save it. In the 41st match minute, Kemsing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lloyd Porter to maneuver through the defense. Franck Klepper might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matthew Rowett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franck Klepper ran back to his position shaking his head. After 45 played minutes Kemsing got a freekick which was hit by Glenn Rundle. Matthew Rowett made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Franck Klepper sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Franck Klepper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Rowett having to interfere. Matthew Rowett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th minute, Perry Beicht ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matthew Rowett was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0.
