Spectators: 9266 (Terracing: 6951, Seating: 2131, VIP seats: 184) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Michael Probst got the match started through his kick off. Danny Holz charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danny Holz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stanway getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Danny Holz hit a great ball. If George Bodenheimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanway's Ralph von Hompesch zu Bolheim got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fred Bruckmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Probst in the 9th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 2-0 when George Bodenheimer sped through Reflection's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eddy Zimmermann. Danny Frantz's late challenge caught a Stanway's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danny Frantz helped the player get up and apologised. Ralph von Hompesch zu Bolheim scored 3-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eddy Zimmermann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Michael Probst came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Reflection fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Probst couldn't finish the play. Ralph von Hompesch zu Bolheim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute, George Bodenheimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Reflection's Stefan Hantzsch got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Bodenheimer made a kick off. Reflection's Eddy Zimmermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Joseph Guttenbrunn in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Stanway booed when Reflection was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matty Auspitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danny Holz might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eddy Zimmermann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danny Holz ran back to his position shaking his head. 62 minutes into the match, Stanway's George Bodenheimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddy Zimmermann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Michael Probst came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Reflection fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Probst couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, George Bodenheimer made a precise shot to the right of Eddy Zimmermann. Reflection's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Eddy Zimmermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Bodenheimer in the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Michael Probst managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reflection's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Probst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Bodenheimer in the 81st minute of play forced Reflection's goalkeeper Eddy Zimmermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Stanway's goalkeeper Fred Bruckmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jasper Hahn. Eddy Zimmermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Bodenheimer in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Reflection's goal looked a bit too open when George Bodenheimer came free, but Eddy Zimmermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Pierre-Joseph Guttenbrunn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddy Zimmermann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Bodenheimer's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stanway fans cheered their team off the field, for while Reflection had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
