With a left leg Karl Trausch saved Kidsgrove from getting behind. S.L.B.Diekirch's Jacques Kühnhackl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Schmitt in the 63rd minute of play. S.L.B.Diekirch's Oswald Majerus got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robin Schmitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
