In the 18th minute, George Bodenheimer made a precise shot to the right of Len Nightingale. Waterlooville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 23rdth minute of the game George Bodenheimer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waterlooville's Len Nightingale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fred Bruckmann was a little too slow when Bradley Phippard got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-4. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Hoskins to strike the kick off in the second half.
