Jacques Werner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Fabel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacques Kühnhackl having to make a save. Jacques Kühnhackl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacques Werner, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Fabel in the 20th minute of play forced S.L.B.Diekirch's goalkeeper Jacques Kühnhackl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, S.L.B.Diekirch's Jacques Kühnhackl got control of the ball when Batu Cem Yalçın tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the S.L.B.Diekirch defense, Batu Cem Yalçın kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacques Kühnhackl. The S.L.B.Diekirch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacques Kühnhackl should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Paignton's zone, Denis Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Napoleon Nakonieczny came out of the goal and Denis Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute Martin Páral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacques Kühnhackl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacques Werner in the 38th minute of play forced S.L.B.Diekirch's goalkeeper Jacques Kühnhackl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Batu Cem Yalçın's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacques Kühnhackl was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. S.L.B.Diekirch's Jacques Kühnhackl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Fabel in the 83rd minute of play. Jacques Werner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jacques Kühnhackl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Fabel scored 7-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacques Kühnhackl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. S.L.B.Diekirch's Jacques Kühnhackl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacques Werner in the 89th minute of play. Batu Cem Yalçın might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacques Kühnhackl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Batu Cem Yalçın ran back to his position shaking his head. Frank Fabel scored 9-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacques Kühnhackl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Paignton players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
