An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Weiss in the 5th minute of play forced CS Fola's goalkeeper Hugo Weiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eddie Lichtenstein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Joel Braun made a huge save. After 8 played minutes Padiham FC got a freekick which was hit by Christof Probst. 14 minutes into the match, CS Fola's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Brodmann came free, but Hugo Weiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Braun was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Gottfried Jacoby capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gottfried Jacoby really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eddie Lichtenstein in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Braun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, CS Fola's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Brodmann came free, but Hugo Weiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Weiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christof Probst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes Padiham FC got a freekick which was hit by Dion Ozwald. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Wally Klopp managed to get in a good position for a shot. CS Fola's supporters rose to their feet, but Wally Klopp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Braun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the CS Fola defense, Leo Brodmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Weiss. The CS Fola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Weiss should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Lars Geschke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Padiham FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CS Fola the free kick. Eddie Lichtenstein in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joel Braun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eddie Lichtenstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Hugo Weiss came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Padiham FC's Christof Probst. But to his dismay, Christof Probst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Padiham FC's Christof Probst got a free kick in the 57th minute. Padiham FC's Lars Geschke got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Lars Geschke off the ground. Lars Geschke kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Friedrich Katzenbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Padiham FC booed when CS Fola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick Hummel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Braun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Friedrich Katzenbach in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Christof Probst made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Weiss. CS Fola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When Max Weiss fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Padiham FC's protests and gave Max Weiss a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd match minute, Padiham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Weiss to maneuver through the defense.
