Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Karl Trausch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian von Radowitz in the 7th minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Robin Schmitt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kidsgrove's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Schmitt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jacques Lavigne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Adrian von Radowitz fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Union Remich Bous's protests and gave Adrian von Radowitz a yellow card for diving instead. If Adrian von Radowitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Schmitt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Union Remich Bous's Donny Juncker got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ollie Helminger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Jentzsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liam Baumgärtner had several of the Kidsgrove's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Karl Trausch as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Jacques Lavigne came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Kidsgrove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacques Lavigne couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the game, Union Remich Bous's Liam Baumgärtner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl Trausch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Liam Baumgärtner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 47 minutes, Marcus Jentzsch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kidsgrove's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Jentzsch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacques Lavigne made a kick off. Albert Edelstein got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jacob Stoffel. 55 minutes into the game, Union Remich Bous's Charlie Walch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl Trausch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 64 minutes into the game, Robin Schmitt lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Ollie Helminger. 67 minutes into the match, Liam Baumgärtner notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Kidsgrove's Karl Trausch. Karl Trausch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Union Remich Bous's Charlie Walch got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian von Radowitz in the 76th minute of play forced Kidsgrove's goalkeeper Karl Trausch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ollie Helminger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Jentzsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Adrian von Radowitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl Trausch. Kidsgrove's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian von Radowitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. In the 87th match minute, Kidsgrove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Mutzel to maneuver through the defense. When Jacques Löw came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Union Remich Bous fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacques Löw couldn't finish the play. Karl Trausch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Stoffel in the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Kidsgrove's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian von Radowitz came free, but Karl Trausch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacob Stoffel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Union Remich Bous fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kidsgrove had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
