Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Phil Perryman kicked off to start the match. Hugo Weiss came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Basingstoke's Brendon Law. But to his dismay, Brendon Law quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 12 minutes, Eddie Lichtenstein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CS Fola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddie Lichtenstein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Friedrich Katzenbach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rupert Joy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Phil Perryman in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Weiss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, CS Fola's goal looked a bit too open when Phil Perryman came free, but Hugo Weiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rupert Joy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddie Lichtenstein's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Hugo Weiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phil Perryman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Eddie Lichtenstein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grant Mayall kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. CS Fola's Eddie Lichtenstein got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CS Fola's Gottfried Jacoby got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Noah Hoffmann's late challenge caught a Basingstoke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noah Hoffmann helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CS Fola getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Noah Hoffmann hit a great ball. In the 46thth minute of the game Phil Perryman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CS Fola's Hugo Weiss was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phil Perryman in the 48th minute of play forced CS Fola's goalkeeper Hugo Weiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eddie Lichtenstein to strike the kick off in the second half. Hugo Weiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phil Perryman in the 52nd minute of the match. Eddie Lichtenstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Basingstoke's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Lichtenstein came free, but Rupert Joy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phil Perryman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Hugo Weiss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60thth minute of the game Eddie Lichtenstein who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Basingstoke's Rupert Joy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Laurent Kirchen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CS Fola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurent Kirchen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Gottfried Jacoby managed to get in a good position for a shot. CS Fola's supporters rose to their feet, but Gottfried Jacoby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rupert Joy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the game, Brendon Law cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hugo Weiss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CS Fola made a substitution. Gottfried Lampadius replaced Friedrich Katzenbach. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Eddie Lichtenstein put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rupert Joy. With a little luck, CS Fola's Hugo Weiss got control of the ball when Brendon Law tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Weiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phil Perryman, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Rupert Joy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Lichtenstein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basingstoke's Rupert Joy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Lichtenstein in the 86th minute of play. Eddie Lichtenstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Basingstoke's goal looked a bit too open when Gottfried Lampadius came free, but Rupert Joy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Blake hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. CS Fola were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Basingstoke to leave the ground with a draw.
