The ball had pretty good speed, but Joel Braun firmly grabbed it by the left post. Max Weiss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Karl Trausch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Trausch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie Arendt in the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Padiham FC's goalkeeper Joel Braun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Jentzsch. Joel Braun made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Marcus Jentzsch sent off a good shot on target. After 28 minutes of play, Kidsgrove's Marcus Jentzsch made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Braun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joel Braun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Jentzsch in the 32nd minute of play. Leo Brodmann's late challenge caught a Kidsgrove's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Brodmann helped the player get up and apologised. Leo Brodmann kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Padiham FC's goalkeeper Joel Braun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Jentzsch. The audience was convinced that Robin Schmitt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Braun was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 53rd minute, Padiham FC's Lars Geschke seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lars Geschke the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Padiham FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lars Geschke had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 54 played minutes Padiham FC got a freekick which was hit by Lars Geschke. 4-1 came in the 55th minute when Giles Klopp all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Joel Braun. A collision led to Kidsgrove getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Perry Kaiser hit a great ball. Julien Thimmesch made in the 59th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Edward Gerhardt however managed to control. Hellmuth Glück hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Marcus Jentzsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jacob Walch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Beaumont charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Beaumont the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Kidsgrove got a freekick which was hit by Luca Beaumont. Joel Braun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giles Klopp went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Joel Braun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Schmitt, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Padiham FC's Joel Braun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Jentzsch in the 84th minute of play.
