In the 44thth minute of the game Eddie Lichtenstein who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.L.B.Diekirch's Jacques Kühnhackl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eddie Lichtenstein was the one to do the kick off. In the 85th minute Eddie Lichtenstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacques Kühnhackl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Eddie Lichtenstein who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.L.B.Diekirch's Jacques Kühnhackl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eddie Lichtenstein got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-1 in the right cross in the 88th match minute before Jacques Kühnhackl had time to react. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CS Fola walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
