In the 17th minute, Ralph von Hompesch zu Bolheim made a precise shot to the right of Karl Trausch. Kidsgrove's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 4-0 when George Bodenheimer sped through Kidsgrove's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karl Trausch. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George Bodenheimer in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl Trausch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Perry Kaiser hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With his leg Karl Trausch managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Stanway's George Bodenheimer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 28 minutes into the match, George Bodenheimer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karl Trausch, 5-0. George Bodenheimer came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Karl Trausch could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Stanway's Friedrich Grethen got a free kick in the 36th minute. Perry Kaiser hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Kidsgrove defense, Mick Glöckner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Trausch. The Kidsgrove fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Trausch should have stopped the shot. Fred Bruckmann came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Kidsgrove's Marcus Jentzsch. But to his dismay, Marcus Jentzsch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Bodenheimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Karl Trausch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Bodenheimer went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the match, Marcus Jentzsch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fred Bruckmann. Stanway's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Jentzsch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Bodenheimer in the 59th minute of play forced Kidsgrove's goalkeeper Karl Trausch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Stanway getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ralph von Hompesch zu Bolheim hit a great ball. When Stanway's George Bodenheimer in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Despite this Karl Trausch quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marcus Jentzsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Bruckmann having to interfere. Karl Trausch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Bodenheimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some careless play in the Kidsgrove defense, Mick Glöckner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Trausch. The Kidsgrove fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Trausch should have stopped the shot. Karl Trausch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Bodenheimer's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. When Stanway's George Bodenheimer in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kidsgrove's goalie prevented a goal. Karl Trausch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of George Bodenheimer's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Stanway's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
