Waterlooville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Union Remich Bous the free kick. Simon Branson kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Waterlooville's Len Nightingale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liam Baumgärtner in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Liam Baumgärtner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The wind increased when Adrian von Radowitz made the kick off in the second half. Adrian von Radowitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Len Nightingale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Liam Baumgärtner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Waterlooville's Len Nightingale got control of the ball when Liam Baumgärtner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Union Remich Bous's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
