Ralph von Hompesch zu Bolheim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Joel Braun made a huge save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mick Glöckner couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Stanway were the better team. Stanway's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
