If Stefan Hantzsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Reflection booed when Waterlooville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathan Bell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Len Nightingale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Probst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Waterlooville's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Probst came free, but Len Nightingale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Wood kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Greg Bramble hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Len Nightingale came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Reflection's Stefan Hantzsch. But to his dismay, Stefan Hantzsch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 42nd minute, Francesco Beauchêne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Wood, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 45th minute, Jasper Hahn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Len Nightingale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Hantzsch in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albert Hoskins made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Waterlooville's goal looked a bit too open when Jasper Hahn came free, but Len Nightingale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Hantzsch in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Len Nightingale saved Waterlooville from getting behind. When Reflection's Jasper Hahn in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waterlooville's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th minute, Michael Probst made a precise shot to the right of Len Nightingale. Waterlooville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Jasper Hahn took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Len Nightingale. Len Nightingale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Michael Probst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Len Nightingale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jasper Hahn in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Len Nightingale saved Waterlooville from getting behind. When Reflection's Stefan Hantzsch in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waterlooville's goalie prevented a goal. After 76 minutes of play, Reflection's Stefan Hantzsch made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Len Nightingale was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Reflection's Michael Probst got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Jasper Hahn came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Reflection fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jasper Hahn couldn't finish the play. Len Nightingale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Probst, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jasper Hahn in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Len Nightingale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute Michael Probst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Len Nightingale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Probst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Len Nightingale having to interfere. Reflection's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
