After 9 played minutes, Rëmeleng United's Joel Bamberger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Giovanni Maurits came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rëmeleng United reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Mark Klingelmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. TSV 1860 München's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Klingelmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lothar Fiedler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 13 in the game by Karl Happe from a close distance when the talented Lothar Fiedler managed to make a qualified save. Rëmeleng United's players were relieved. Mark Klingelmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lothar Fiedler having to interfere. Karl Happe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Lothar Fiedler skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lazlo Rauschenberger hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute of the match Dagobert von Hompesch zu Bolheim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lothar Fiedler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, TSV 1860 München's Mark Klingelmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lothar Fiedler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of TSV 1860 München booed when Rëmeleng United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Bamberger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddie Simon charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddie Simon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Rëmeleng United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazlo Rauschenberger to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Klingelmann in the 43rd minute of play forced Rëmeleng United's goalkeeper Lothar Fiedler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lothar Fiedler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Happe in the 44th minute of the match. Karl Happe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Lothar Fiedler made a huge save. 47 minutes into the game, Joel Bamberger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The wind increased when Lazlo Rauschenberger made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rëmeleng United getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gregory Pfannmöller hit a great ball. In the 56th match minute, TSV 1860 München was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Klepper to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Mark Klingelmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Mark Klingelmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lothar Fiedler. Rëmeleng United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mark Klingelmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 77thth minute of the game Karl Happe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rëmeleng United's Lothar Fiedler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl Happe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lothar Fiedler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Happe in the 83rd minute of the match. When TSV 1860 München's Karl Happe in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 89th minute Lazlo Rauschenberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Maurits saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Klingelmann in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lothar Fiedler saved Rëmeleng United from getting behind. In the 93rdth minute of the game Karl Happe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rëmeleng United's Lothar Fiedler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
