Igor Brunner came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Schönberg's Burak Rehak. But to his dismay, Burak Rehak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Burak Rehak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Aydin Blumenthal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schönberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aydin Blumenthal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Daniel Casetti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club 1979's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schönberg the free kick. Daniel Casetti kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Igor Brunner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aydin Blumenthal in the 28th minute of the match. Schönberg's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
