Marko Christen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Deflorin in the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to Wem getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Benjamin Gebhard hit a great ball. Mathias von Opel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopold Schäpper in the 15th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Leopold Schäpper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathias von Opel was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Leopold Schäpper ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathias von Opel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Anton Weirath fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wem's protests and gave Anton Weirath a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Wem's Anton Weirath got a free kick in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Caduff in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias von Opel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leopold Schäpper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias von Opel having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Leopold Schäpper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wem's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopold Schäpper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias von Opel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Tobias Deflorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd match minute, DopplerEffekt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Biedermeier to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Biedermeier charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Biedermeier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valentin Biedermeier kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Deflorin to make the kick off. Mathias von Opel made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Fabio Caduff sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, DopplerEffekt's Mathias von Opel got control of the ball when Fabio Caduff tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leopold Schäpper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias von Opel having to interfere. Leopold Schäpper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 minutes of play, Wem's Fabio Caduff made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathias von Opel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benjamin Gebhard kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to Wem getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Stefan Fischer hit a great ball. Marko Christen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Deflorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Wem could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DopplerEffekt throughout the match.
