René Jehle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Mydla having to interfere. Wolf Biedermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ronny Eberle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glossop's Philip Elkuch got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If René Jehle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Philip Elkuch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thorsten Kindle hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Alexander Eberle charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Eberle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when René Jehle made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute of the game, Conrad Reinmann landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Wolf Biedermann's late challenge caught a FC Vaduz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wolf Biedermann helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Vaduz booed when Glossop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wolf Biedermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Glossop's goalkeeper Andreas Mydla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the game, Glossop's Philip Elkuch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronny Eberle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Philip Elkuch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronny Eberle having to make a save. Ronny Eberle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Elkuch in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, FC Vaduz's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Elkuch came free, but Ronny Eberle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronny Eberle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Elkuch in the 77th minute of the match. If Roland Rehak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benno Quaderer charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 95th minute, Michele Stulz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, FC Vaduz's goal looked a bit too open when Wolf Biedermann came free, but Ronny Eberle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Glossop players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
