In the 10th match minute, Kings Lynn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wendelin Fischer to maneuver through the defense. Jacob Josef Fromm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Horace Mischler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adam Alija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacob Josef Fromm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horace Mischler having to make a save. 20 minutes into the game, one of Elsdon:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Horace Mischler, was totally fooled by Kings Lynn's Micha Hilti, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Adam Alija got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 30th match minute, Elsdon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilpert Bösiger to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute Adam Alija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horace Mischler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pietro Fischer kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Sixt Simon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Kathan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacob Josef Fromm's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Horace Mischler skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixt Simon got free with Mathias Kathan in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacob Josef Fromm in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horace Mischler saved Elsdon from getting behind. With a little luck, Kings Lynn's Mathias Kathan got control of the ball when Sixt Simon tried to sneak it across the goal line.
