Ismaele Santo Strub scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hans Heid, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute Thorsten Nägele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Heid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes FC Triesenberg got a freekick which was hit by Stjepan Sozzi. In the 24th minute Robert Schädler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmut Alabor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Schädler was the one to do the kick off. Mathias Weikl was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Ismaele Santo Strub ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans Heid was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. FC Triesenberg played a much better game than Weaverham and deserved their victory. The Weaverham players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
