Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Josh Räss kicked off to start the match. Adam Alija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Bättig having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Jacob Josef Fromm notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Alresford AFC's Ted Bättig. Ted Bättig was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mathias Kathan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Bernuzzi in the 15th minute of the match. Ted Bättig came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Kings Lynn's Damian Casutt. But to his dismay, Damian Casutt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Jacob Josef Fromm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ted Bättig was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Alresford AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Jacob Josef Fromm scored to the left of an out of position Ted Bättig, making the score, 3-0. When Josh Räss came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Alresford AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josh Räss couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Brian Kessler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacob Josef Fromm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ted Bättig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Kings Lynn's Mathias Kathan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Bernuzzi in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Kings Lynn's Adam Alija dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacob Josef Fromm was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute, Alresford AFC's Martin Bernuzzi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. The referee showed Martin Bernuzzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Martin Bernuzzi kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Alresford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Casutt came free, but Ted Bättig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacob Josef Fromm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wido Allemann during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute Ernst Ballweber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Bättig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacob Josef Fromm in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ted Bättig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reik Frank kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Alresford AFC got a freekick which was hit by Reik Frank. Micha Hilti was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The nice shot from Martin Bernuzzi in the 87thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Mathias Kathan had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After a rather tough play, Kings Lynn's Andreas Schäpper got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ted Bättig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Josef Fromm, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kings Lynn had played much better football throughout.
